Trapezoidal sheet, roof sandwich panels, single-ply membrane. The largest area on the site and the smallest margin for error.
Structural trapezoidal deck, vapour barrier, mineral wool or PIR insulation and a mechanically fixed PVC or TPO membrane. The standard for large logistics and production halls. Fixing patterns are designed to wind zones and corner areas, not applied flat across the whole roof.
A fast solution for pitched and mono-pitch roofs from 5 % fall. One installation operation instead of four layers. We use panels with longitudinal overlap and concealed fixing, completed with system ridge pieces, flashings and snow guards.
Old asbestos-cement or corroded metal roofs are either fully replaced or over-roofed above the existing covering without a shutdown. Always with an assessment of the existing structure's capacity.
Eaves and valley gutters, outlets, emergency overflows, fall-arrest systems and anchor points for future maintenance. The roof has to be safely accessible in ten years too.
In most cases, no. We work in bays that are covered and sealed each evening. We go through the risks up front and agree with the investor how large a bay is acceptable.
That is for a structural engineer to assess against the existing frame and panel type. We can design the build-up so future PV is allowed for — including anchor components and cable penetrations that do not compromise the waterproofing.
Stripping asbestos-cement sheeting is hazardous waste handling. We run it through a licensed specialist, including tracking and disposal records.
